Revenue Analyst

Company has a client in Alexandria, VA that is seeking a Revenue Analyst.

The Revenue Analyst will assist with coordination and maintenance of monthly billings and customer accounts for the company:

  • Membership dues – quarterly (mail/email)
  • Prepare invoices for company Retirees
  • Mail/Email Collection notices
  • Prepare invoices for miscellaneous billings
  • Respond to inquiries from customers regarding membership dues and other billings
  • Analyze statements and provide timely and accurate responses

Payment Processing & Contributions Duties:

  • Coordinate with Development (fundraising) department to ensure donor payments are processed and applied timely and accurately
  • Apply payments and reconcile activity with multiple platforms including Salesforce, Stripe, Authorize.net and Frontstream

Additional Duties:

  • Reconciliation and analysis of revenue and accounts receivable accounts and activity
  • Provide timely and accurate reconciliation of accounts receivable accounts and analysis of revenue activities
  • Monitor aging of customer receivables and provide management reports to facilitate resolution
  • Provide information to support monthly closing of general ledger
  • High School diploma/GED required; Associate degree in Accounting/Finance, or commensurate experience
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Computer and Internet research skills
  • Flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills
  • Project coordination experience
  • Ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors
  • Sensitivity to confidential matters may be required
  • Attention to detail is essential
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal), and a clear ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains) software, a plus
  • Self-starter willing to implement process improvements
