A Company client is seeking a Java API Developer in Westlake, TX.

Responsibilities:

  • In this role, the Java API Developer will help build the web user experience and the underlying platforms needed to support our digital presence
  • Work on building end to end features
  • Contribute to own entire features from concept to deployment working on cross-functional teams
  • Opportunity to improve our products as well as develop skills, learn new technologies and languages, and continue to learn
  • The Java API Developer will work in a team oriented, iterative, and fast-paced environment
  • Solid understanding of HTTP based APIs, Networking and how the internet works
  • Proven Java/J2EE & Node.JS based applications expertise
  • Experience with JavaScript, Typescript, CSS, HTML & Browser Developer tools
  • Understand Async code (Promises, Callbacks, Event Loops)
  • JS Tooling (ESLint, Webpack , Grunt, Gulp)
  • JS MV* frameworks (Angular, React)
  • Knowledgeable in Visual Design & Rapid Prototyping
  • Expert at one IDE of choice (VS Code, WebStorm)
  • Node.js frameworks NPM, Express experience
  • Automation Tools/Frameworks (Mocha, Jasmine, Selenium, Protractor) experience
  • Sophisticated Git skills
  • API Design & Development, MicroServices Architecture experience
  • DevOps, Automated Testing and Continuous Delivery experience
