Company has a client that is seeking a Senior Java Developer in Richmond, VA.

Key Tasks:

  • Provide enhancements and support of features and capabilities
  • Continuously improve our data management platform as part of our digital transformation of documents

Provide enhancements and additional capabilities involved with document generation including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Form data capture
  • Form rendering
  • Signature capture
  • Document imaging/conversion
  • Watermarking

Provide enhancements and additional capabilities involved with document consumption including, but not limited to the following:

  • Workflow
  • Rights Management
  • Distribution
  • Analytics
  • Technical support for any production related issues, ensuring we are limiting the customer experience impact
  • 4-year degree in an IT related course of study is required
  • 8+ years of application development experience with proficiency in Core Java and Enterprise Java
  • HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript
  • JavaScript Frameworks (ReactJS preferred)
  • Spring Framework: Spring Boot; Spring MVC
  • Understanding of Design and Integration patterns
  • Solid foundation in Database principles: NoSQL databases (Cosmos, Mongo, etc.)
  • Experience with Cloud (Azure, AWS); Service Bus, Functions, microservices; IAAS
  • Experience with Microservices Architecture
  • JavaScript
  • REST, SOAP, and Messaging Paradigms
  • GitHub
  • DevOps: Continuous integration and build tools; Maven; TeamCity/Jenkins
  • Experienced in building supportable maintainable world class applications
  • Experience with OSGI
  • Working knowledge with document management software (Adobe experience preferred); Adobe Sign Experience; Working knowledge of AEM (Adobe Experience Manager)
  • Experience working legacy systems; Capturing and understanding capabilities; Integrating with existing systems; Planning for replacement of legacy systems and features
