Company has a client that is seeking a Full Stack Developer in Herndon, VA.

Duties Include:

  • Full Stack Developer will assist junior developers in guiding them with technology or process as required
  • Actively contribute to, and follow the agile team norms set forth, including but not limited to attending daily scrum calls, backlog refinement, retrospective, and other agile meetings
  • As a Full Stack Developer, you will own and be accountable for software quality with demonstrated prior experience in writing unit test cases in a test-driven development process environment
  • Overall 8+ years of development experience with at least 5+ years of recent experience in software development using Java, JavaScript and ReactJS
  • Strong experience in developing SOAP/RESTful webservices in the Spring microservices environment – Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, etc.
  • Solid, modern frontend development experience – one or more development frameworks/libraries required (Angular, ReactJS); Experience in ReactJS is preferred
  • Good knowledge/experience in building software in AWS Cloud environment, Container technologies (ex: Docker), & Micro services architecture
  • Working knowledge of Relational databases – MySQL or equivalent
  • Agile experience – Scrum, Continuous Integration, Test Driven development
  • Experience with bash scripting and Linux environment
  • Experience in working in the cloud environment
  • Experience in Serverless architecture
  • Working knowledge and experience working in both a Windows & Linux environment
  • Solid experience in full-stack web development using JavaScript, ReactJS, Java technologies
  • Demonstrated experience in optimizing the system for high volume, high through-put transaction processing
  • Displaying initiative, be able to work independently as a strong individual contributor with minimal guidance, being an integral part of an agile team, superior collaboration, and teamwork are crucial
  • Be able to figure out efficient ways of working to meet deadlines in a fast-paced start-up like environment
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills are a must
  • Be able to work on technical spikes to evaluate tools or solutions
