A Company client is looking for a Senior Front End Developer local to TX or VA.

Responsibilities:

  • In this role, the Senior Front End Developer will engage in discussions between designers, architects, other developers, and business partners to create new services for our product teams
  • Hands-on development on the services, APIs, and other capabilities that your team constantly iterates on
  • Execute within an agile environment including discovery, design, development and testing
  • The Senior Front End Developer will stay on top of industry trends and best practice to continuously improve what we do and ensure our customer experience is the best it can be
  • This role requires hands-on work in technologies such as Azure PaaS (Functions, App Services, App Insights, Structured/Unstructured data storage, Redis, and others), .NET Core, React, Azure DevOps for CI/CD, automated testing tools, and API management systems
  • A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of frontend application development experience
  • 5 + years experience with JavaScript for production system using tools such as Angular or ReactJS desired
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft.NET
  • Experience with API design, microservice architectures, and messaging paradigms highly preferred
  • Knowledge of and experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS preferred
  • Solid understanding of DevOps capabilities such as automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery preferred
  • Proven ability to mentor and develop others
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Prior banking experience is a plus
