A Company client is seeking a Java API Developer in Westlake, TX.

Summary:
As a Java API Developer, this role will help build the web user experience and the underlying platforms needed to support digital presence. The Java API Developer will work on building end to end features as part of our autonomous, cross functional teams. This is an opportunity to contribute to own entire features from concept to deployment working on cross-functional teams. The Java API Developer will have the opportunity to contribute ideas to improve our products as well as develop their own skills, learn new technologies and languages, and continue to learn.

  • Proven understanding of HTTP based APIs, Networking and how the internet works
  • Proven experience with Java/J2EE & Node.JS based applications expertise
  • Experience with JavaScript, Typescript, CSS, HTML & Browser Developer tools
  • Understand Async code (Promises, Callbacks, Event Loops)
  • JS Tooling (ESLint, Webpack , Grunt, Gulp) experience
  • JS MV* frameworks (Angular, React) experience
  • Expert at one IDE of choice (VS Code, WebStorm)
  • Experience with Node.js frameworks NPM, Express
  • Automation Tools/Frameworks (Mocha, Jasmine, Selenium, Protractor) experience
  • Advanced Git skills
  • API Design & Development, MicroServices Architecture experience
  • DevOps, Automated Testing and Continuous Delivery experience
