A Company client is seeking to hire a Senior ServiceNow Engineer in Reston, Virginia (VA).

Summary:
Our client is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join our ServiceNow, Audit, and Compliance team. The role is a full stack software development position focused on ServiceNow development, architecture, integrations, workflows, administration delivering the overall platform and the entire inventory, audit, and compliance portfolio. This Engineer will collaborate across the organization to develop, design, test, support Service Now and other core infrastructure components, focusing on reliability, availability, and scalability of infrastructure.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field or equivalent work experience, required; Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • ServiceNow development, administration, and integration experience
  • Experience in advanced object-oriented languages
  • Linux and OS skills
  • Utilizes high level technical knowledge of software, hardware, networks, and storage
  • Understands the importance of and values improving processes and systems, and enjoys auditing
  • Experience with Python, React, Perl, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, Ansible, Terraform, OpenStack, and/or Kubernetes
  • Exposure to collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Confluence, and Jira
  • Web UI experience
