A Company client in Boston, Massachusetts is seeking to hire a remote Lead Software Engineer (Node.js, React).

Responsibilities include:

  • Design, build, and deploy highly scalable systems using a variety of technologies, including Node.js, React, Microservices architecture, Big Data technology, and AWS cloud technology
  • Lead and mentor a small, talented engineering team
  • Lead Software Engineer will build cloud-deployed services that are responsible for the organization, distribution, and presentation of large, complex datasets from numerous sources
  • Write APIs which interact with SQL databases
  • Lead Software Engineer will design complex solutions that accommodate future needs
  • 5+ years of commercial software development experience
  • Full stack development skills using Node.js and React
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases
  • Experience with AWS Cloud technologies
  • Technical team leadership and mentoring skills
  • Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes preferred
