A Company client is seeking to hire a Senior Programming Analyst UAF in Oldwick, New Jersey (NJ).
Summary:
The Senior Programmer/Analyst (UAF) position is responsible for maintenance and development of the Unified Analytical Framework (UAF), a dashboard that acts as a portal for internal analysts, and external customers to interact with proprietary analytical models. This Analyst maintains, understands how the UAF functions, is expected to propose and execute changes to improve functionality and user experience. The position also works on new and existing web-based applications, APIs, and legacy desktop applications.
Responsibilities include:
- Analyze, design, develop, test and support business critical solutions using Visual Studio and/or similar programming languages, Oracle design and development processes, supporting data structures, and system level implementation methods and practices
- Senior Programming Analyst is responsibility for including system development and application architecture using C#, Blazor MVC and APIs within Visual Studio 2022
- Facilitate development and provide guidance for the IT staff on best practices using Blazor for building client web apps with C# in the .NET development environment; This technology is part of IT’s re-architecture and new tech stack initiative
- Adhere to established coding standards and adapt to the software development methodologies, with heavy focus of Solid programming principles
- Senior Programming Analyst will work with business, developers, project leads to ensure software design meets business, and technical requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent related technical field experience
- 8+ years of experience working as a Visual Studio (C#, VB.NET) or similar discipline developer
- 6+ years of experience with Oracle and SQL Server databases
- Experience with front-end web UI development using Microsoft Blazor
- Development experience with .NET programming (C# / VB), Java, Service Oriented Architectures, Web/Windows services
- Strong understanding of relational databases with development experience using Oracle SQL, PL/SQL
- Self-starter, with a demonstrated ability to learn beyond formal training with a strong aptitude for delivering quality solutions
- Ability to effectively prioritize workload and work under pressure with a high degree of independence
- Ability to interface and collaborate with clients, peers, management to troubleshoot issues, and develop solutions
- Critical thinking skills, ability to accurately analyze information and make sound decisions
- Must be versatile, flexible, and proactive when resolving technical issues
- Ability to handle diverse situations and rapidly changing priorities with deadlines
- Ability to work well independently or as part of a team, support multiple processes, and applications
- Experience with Python (Django), JavaScript (Vue, Angular, Svelte, React, Single Page Applications) CSS3, HTML5, Fast API with SQL Alchemy are a major plus
- Experience with architectures such as Web APIs, Microservices. SOA, WCF and others are a plus
