Company has a client that is seeking a Front End Developer (React/Typescript) in Brooklyn, NY.

About the team:
PEGS is modernizing Seller Tools to React Toolkit and TypeScript. Seller Tools are the tools the company sellers use to manage their listings. The PEGS team is migrating the Seller Tools to React, ReduxToolkit and Typescript.

Summary:
The Front End Developer will be helping us to keep the products our customers use up-to-date and bug-free. You will collaborate with other teams across product engineering, partnering with product managers, designers, and other engineers.

Duties:

  • Front End Developer will develop web applications using TypeScript, React, and Redux Toolkit
  • Build features with a customer-centric and product focus
  • Provide estimates or product ideas that will influence the team’s roadmap
  • As a Front End Developer, you will work with and improve on code they did not initially write
  • Experiment and use data to drive decision-making
  • Mentor other engineers
  • Experience working on e-commerce search experience of another large-scale system
  • You have experience operating within a large codebase and working to build simplicity from sophisticated systems
  • Typescript
  • React
  • ReduxToolkit
  • HTML/CSS
  • Bonus points if you’ve worked on e-commerce search experiences or other large-scale systems
