Full Stack Developer – .NET, C#, Azure

Company’s client seeks a Full Stack Developer for support of the Global Life Health business applications.

Summary:
As an integral part of the Global Life Office of the Customer team, the Full Stack Developer will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders and external clients to deliver the best-in-class solutions for the Life Health portfolio of projects. The Full Stack Developer will be responsible for the development of the international data ingestion application as well as guide the modernization of the existing application portfolio. They should be comfortable with Azure Data Lake and cloud technology as the company will be migrating to this technology in the future. The Full Stack Developer will have a strong data background in Service-Oriented Architecture, Microservices, SQL Server database technologies, SSIS, .Net and C#. This is an international team and requires a flexible schedule to work with associates around the globe. Core business hours are flexible.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Project Manager and stakeholders to develop and maintain applications
  • Work with other developers to ensure the successful integration of the applications to other LH systems under development
  • Work as a member of the Life Health Office of Customer application development team on other applications as needed
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Comfortable with modern analytics architecture with Azure data bricks, Azure architecture center, and Microsoft docs
  • Comfortable managing the complete development process from conception to deployment, as well as maintaining and upgrading software post deployment
  • Knowledge of Agile/MS DevOps including pipelines for build and deployment
  • Strong MS SQL Server development experience with exposure to Azure Data Lake experience (Databricks, Data Factory, PySpark, Synapse)
  • Experience with programming languages and frameworks including C#, .Net framework, HTML/DHTML, T-SQL, Event Hubs, Docker, Kubernetes
  • Ability to work directly with business users
  • Ability to work/meet during flexible hours; Will need to coordinate with international users across different time zones (USA, Europe and Asia)

Additional Experience/Skills Desired:

  • Experience with Microsoft Master Data Services is a plus
  • Experience working with DbUp is a plus
  • Experience with Python/R is a plus
  • Java 11+ with Spring/SpringBoot/JPA is a plus
  • Re-insurance or insurance knowledge is preferred
