SDET (FS Heavy Front End, Test Automation)

Company has a client that is seeking a SDET (FS Heavy Front End, Test Automation) in Salt Lake City, UT.

Key Tasks:

  • SDET will design and develop web applications using Angular/Vue.js/React, Typescript and NodeJS
  • Define test strategy and setting up Test Automation framework for web applications using frameworks like Cypress or Puppeteer
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of proven experience in designing and developing web applications using Angular/Vue.js/React, Typescript and NodeJS
  • Strong experience in JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular/Vue.js/React, NodeJS, CSS, HTML & Browser Developer tools
  • Proven working experience with test automation frameworks, AngularJS/ReactJS, NodeJS, HTML5
  • Experience in delivering software in an Agile environment
  • Knowledge of end-to-end DevSecOps automation with CI and CD pipelines including Unit, Component, Functional, Performance, and Security test automation (experience using Jenkins, Jira, Stash, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of unit testing and mocking frameworks
  • Good knowledge of HTTP and REST APIs
  • Solid understanding in application development with micro architectures
  • Solid understanding of database design fundamentals
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills

Preferred:

  • Linux, Shell Scripting, Docker, and AWS Cloud certification will be a plus
  • Certifications in, and working experience with, AWS/Azure is a plus
  • Mobile Development and testing experience is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
