A Company client is seeking a Full Stack UI Angular Developer in Durham, NC.
Summary:
In this role, the Full Stack UI Angular Developer will design, develop and implement web applications, including adherence to coding standards, and building/running appropriate unit and integration tests and deployment scripts. The Full Stack UI Angular Developer will be writing unit tests using karma, jest and functional tests using cypress or any other similar framework.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience with software development, preferably front end web development
- Knowledge of JavaScript libraries and their use in building complex interactive experiences
- Proven Responsive Web Design Development experience
- Familiarity with MVC frameworks (Angular, react.js, vue js or similar) and common JavaScript design patterns
- Familiarity with Responsive Designs; Extensive JavaScript
- Experience with GraphQL highly preferred
- Knowledge of design techniques for developing websites with good performance (i.e. lazy loading, use of Spites, etc.)
- Proven UI design and development experience
- Knowledge of expanded HTML5 semantics and popular HTML5 APIs (e.g. audio, video, SVG)
- Experience and knowledge of RESTful APIs or other Web Services
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate software engineering and/or development concepts and principles
- Ability to design, develop and implement web applications, including adherence to coding standards, and building/running appropriate unit and integration tests and deployment scripts
- Experience with writing unit tests using karma, jest and functional tests using cypress or any other similar framework
- Basic principles of software design for maintainable and extendable software
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate with other developers and co-workers including distributed team members
- Agile/Scrum experience or basic knowledge
- Experience mentoring junior staff and defining coding standards and best practices
- Experience working with large branded websites, content management systems, E-commerce platforms, and backend frameworks (Java, .NET) is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
