Company has a client that is seeking a fully remote Enterprise Architect.
Summary:
The Enterprise Applications Architect will be responsible for the development of application architectural strategies and data architecture/solutions that align to the company’s business strategy and goals. The Enterprise Applications Architect will collaborate with application portfolio leads, Product Managers, and business stakeholders to help determine solutions based on business requirements and consult on their implementation. This position is a member of Enterprise Architecture team within the Enterprise Transformation organization.
Duties:
- Enterprise Architect will evaluate/analyze business needs and current technical assets/data to develop and implement solutions and strategy for our applications
- Perform platform planning and drive technical roadmap with the vendor and suggest improvements to increase efficiencies, scalability, and maximize product values
- As an Enterprise Architect, you will interact and communicate effectively with business sponsors, technology senior and middle management, executives, as well as end users and business subject matter experts
- Develop, maintain, and evangelize application architecture strategy to include reference architecture and standards, use of application patterns and assist development teams with best practices for application design
- Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science or Information Systems (or equivalent work experience)
- 5+ years of overall experience in Application Architecture – primarily within design and standards functions including experience with integration patterns, deployment of enterprise-level N-tier architecture, and evaluate new software
- Strong knowledge and experience with Azure DevOps suite, Azure cloud portal, CI/CD (including automated build, deploy, and feedback loop), DevOps, event-driven architecture, Java, .NET, Angular, python, and SOA
- Experience with IT Software such as CRM, E-signature, Rules Engines, Reporting, SSO, OCR, financial systems, software sales tooling, and document assembly are preferred
- Experience working with application teams, vendors, or service providers; Significant experience with SDLC methodologies and design/architecture aspects of project delivery
- Ability to maintain strategic perspective, understanding the big picture and maintaining patience and persistence to achieve long-term goals and objectives
- Strong organizational, communication and presentation skills; Must show experience with documenting and presenting technology strategy and experience in a strategic and consultative technical role
