Company has a client in search of a Solution Architect in Doral, FL.

Summary:
This role is to provide subject matter expertise and develop high quality technical procedures, documentation, and architecture in resilient and highly secure fashion. Focus areas will be around the continuous improvement and optimization of overall architecture, initial discovery/collaboration with potential vendors/third parties and vetting out new technologies that may benefit various product lines. The Solution Architect will liaise between product owners, vendors, managers, senior developers, security, network & infrastructure teams, and various business units as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Solution Architect will research, design, develop, and evangelize the overall application architecture, to include design variance between different clouds, microservices design and integration, and a zero-trust highly secure transactional model
  • Design, develop and maintain customized applications & infrastructure, based on business and technical requirements established by the team leader using Norwegian coding standards including IT Standards for Security & Compliance
  • Provide a point of escalation for product teams facing extremely complex technical, design, or architecture challenges
  • Build technology and organizational bridges to key organizational partners while contributing to the development of new ideas and methods for solving problems
  • As a Solution Architect, you will be involved in setting strategic direction to establish near term goals related to area of responsibility; Interacts with senior management internally and externally, which involves negotiating or influencing on significant matters; Represent the organization to external customers and vendors through direct interactions, conferences, white papers, etc. as required
  • 7+ years of experience in developing applications using Microsoft technologies as Full Stack professional
  • 5+ years of experience in developing restful APIs using c#, Asp.net web API
  • Minimum 3 years of leading other software developers, designing, and architecting solutions, and working in an agile environment
  • 2+ years of experience in .NET core
  • 2+ years of experience as solution/application architect in distributed applications
  • Experience designing and working with both relational & transactional databases and developing highly scalable systems
  • Good experience in working with multiple teams together and drive the architecture
  • Good understanding of network and infrastructure fundamentals
  • Good experience working in cross functional teams
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with PAAS is preferred
  • Experience in working with Agile/Scrum team is preferred
  • Experience of working with Full Stack Developers is preferred
  • Experience is developing web applications using Asp.net/angular/NodeJS is preferred
  • Application programming and/or hands-on technical application architecture experience building large scale applications a plus
  • Leisure, Travel and Cruise industry experience preferred
