Company has a client seeking a Senior Developer in Farmington Hills, MI.

Responsibilities:

  • MES-System Design, Project Execution with best practices
  • Senior Developer overall responsibilities will include reverse engineering the existing implementation of Rockwell FTPC application and document the implemented use case, system design, application design
  • Development, Enhancement of existing Rockwell FTPC application
  • Testing, UAT and rollout at site
  • Hype care and global operations support

Tools & Skills:

  • Hands on with Rockwell FTPC
  • Knowledge & hands on experience on Rockwell FTPC, SOS, SQL
  • Hands on experience in Java, .NET, and SQL will be required
  • Experience of handling at least 2 FTPC project
  • Knowledge & hands on experience on Integration of MES with SAP, PLM, PLC will be required
  • Should have working knowledge on at least 2 of the protocols out of OPC, Profibus /Profinet, Modbus, DeviceNet, ControlNet, Fieldbus
  • Knowledge in RSLinx and iGear
  • Nice to have Java experience
  • Nice to have Oracle and SQL DB experience, also with Stored procedures

Database:

  • Hands on with RDBMS (SQL, Oracle) – Development of store procedures

Domain:

  • Automotive or discrete industries

Leadership Skills (Optional):

  • Team Handling: Ability to handle team efficiently
  • Leading from the front: Ability to help team members for any technical issues
  • Soft skills: Effective Customer interaction; Fluent communication; Presentation skills
  • Project Management activities
