Guidewire Portals Developer – ACE

Company has a client is seeking a Guidewire Edge API Developer. This role is 100% remote and will work in the EST time zone. The interview process is one and done approximately 45 minutes via video. In this role, the Guidewire Portals Developer will lend subject matter knowledge around Guidewire Policy Center/Edge API development.

Duties Include:

  • The Guidewire Portals Developer will be part of the team developing the Edge API components to permit quote and bind of personal lines of policy products
  • Complete the development needs in compliance with GW’s development standards
  • As a Guidewire Portals Developer, you will communicate and collaborate with other team members while also self-managing Cloud Implementation
  • ACE certification is required; If they have completed the first 2 tests for this certification, the client will still consider those profiles
  • There are 2 openings – the only difference is seniority; One position they are seeking 4 – 5 years of experience and the other role is about 2 years of experience
  • More than 2 years of experience with Guidewire Policy Center as a GW Digital Portal developer
  • Experience with Edge API development, portal development, producer engage (or customer engage), digital portal development and Angular
  • Experience in all phases of the implementation lifecycle and should be able to design, solution and develop end to end solutions
  • Experience developing with GW Edge APIs with Policy Center is required
  • GW Producer Engage product experience – knowledge of the GW Bundle and wizards
  • Experience using Gunit in GW suite
  • Knowledge of the following languages: Angular JS v1.5 or greater, HTML/HTML5, JavaScript, and React
