Company is looking for Application Software Engineers to come aboard a contract to hire opportunity with one of our top Fortune 25 clients in Rancho Cordova, CA.

Responsibilities:

  • In this role, the Application Software Engineer will be performing QA on solutions delivered by the developers in two-week sprints
  • Collect validation scenarios (standard and change-specific) to be used in validating changes
  • Collect and or generate data required in performing successful positive and negative changes
  • Contribute in improving the collective testing process by recommending, designing and implementing testing solutions/automations
  • The Application Software Engineer will apply IT testing best practices
  • Participate in all Agile Ceremonies
  • Work on user stories by gathering requirements and develop solutions based on those requirements through
  • Participate in testing, peer reviews and deployments of changes
  • Participate in the on-call production support rotation
  • As an Application Software Engineer, you will resolve incident tickets and fulfill requests assign to the team in ServiceNow
  • BS or MS degree required
  • Software Skills Required: Informatica and/or Talend, Oracle SQL/PLSQL, .Net, C#, Gitlab, UNIX/LINUX, REST API (testing), Kubernetes
  • Oracle/SQL/Informatica experience
  • Test automation experience
  • Data Quality Standards experience

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Cloud experience (preferably Azure)
  • CI/CD Pipeline for test automation
  • Agile/JIRA
