Back End Developer with Azure

Company has a client that is seeking a Back End Developer with Azure in Alpharetta, GA.

Accountabilities:

  • Back End Developer will write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity
  • Successfully implement development processes, process automation, coding best practices, and code reviews
  • Participate in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software
  • Full lifecycle development process including design, development, testing and implementation of moderate to advanced complexity systems
  • As a Back End Developer, you will develop moderate to advanced modules and system components and develops simple to moderately complex reusable code
  • Operate in various development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Experienced with Git/GitHub/GitLab, GitHub Actions, Gitlab DevOps, Jenkins
  • Experienced with Azure, Kubernetes, JFrog, Docker
  • Proficiency in YAML
  • Expertise with creating and maintaining automated build pipelines
  • Knowledge of hashicorp vault or azure key vault
  • Knowledge of helm charts and optionally argo cd

One of the following:

  • Proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, .NET CORE, MySQL
  • Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, Typescript and associated tools (VSCODE, PHPStorm) and frameworks (e.g., Zend/Laminas, React, Angular)
  • Knowledge of JSON HTTP/REST web-services
  • Familiarity of industry best practices – code standards
  • Ability to work well with internal and external technology resources
  • Ability to write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity
  • Knowledge of data storage subsystems
  • Security best practices required
  • Ability to work in ambiguous situations; Take a high-level assignment and work the detail to produce a successful solution
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes or bug fixes as needed to resolve issues
  • Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage one’s time
  • Experience with Linux or windows admin/config a plus
