A Company client is seeking to hire a Node.js/React-Engineer in Davie, Florida (FL).

Responsibilities include:

  • Review requirements and designs to understand the tasks laid out
  • Attend meetings on a regular basis to keep in-sync and provide progress
  • Node.js/React-Engineer will follow a scrum method of project organization
  • Provide thoughts and opinions – and ask questions
  • Work with Azure for container orchestration
  • Test you code well before handing it over to the Quality Assurance team
  • Keep code lean and clearly understandable with good comments
  • Node.js/React-Engineer will write code that is consistent and aligned with architecture best practice, easily testable, understood by other developers, and accounts for edge cases and errors
  • Articulate and communicate thoughts, ideas, opinions and problems clearly and professionally
  • Experience with designing RESTful backend microservices and developing them using Node.js
  • Skills building full-stack applications using JavaScript technologies
  • Ability to develop front-end web user interfaces with React
  • Experience with Test-Driven Development
  • Experience ensuring your code builds and deploys properly through Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment processes
  • Organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency programming in more than one object-oriented programming language; React.js, Node.js, JavaScript, and HTML
  • Proficiency with HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript/jQuery, local storage, and cross-browser compatibility are required
  • Experience working with Azure
  • Demonstrate experience implementing current technologies and techniques (e.g., cloud-based solutions leveraging microservices)
  • Knowledge of SQL and SQL Server queries and stored procedures
  • Database application development knowledge in MongoDB
  • Kafka utilization experience
  • C# experience is a plus
