Company has a client seeking a fully remote Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team in Waltham, MA.

Responsibilities:

  • The Quality Assurance Engineer will champion the design, creation, and implementation of front end and functional validation tools for routine automated testing of the application and user flows using tools such as MFTF and Selenium
  • Train team members to extend use of application testing as use cases grow
  • Aid developers on creating Unit Tests to shift to a TDD workflow; This would include designing, creating, executing back end automated testing in Magento, as well as enforcing these best practices across the team
  • Review user stories and functional requirements
  • Review manual test cases for the relevant application and provide feedback on suitability for automation to the project team
  • As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will support, maintain, and enhance all test case automation related activities during iterative development, system testing, and regression testing
  • Establish and configure testing environments for executing test cases and scenarios
  • Participate in the development, deployment, and administration of QA process, tools, and supporting technologies
  • Partner with QA resource to create test suite
  • A technical testing evangelist with strong collaboration skills to help us to shift to a TDD framework while train non-technical QAs on the benefits of automated testing suites
  • Solid foundation in PHP, and Magento architecture
  • Expertise in QA Test tools from development Unit Testing to Application test tools
  • Knowledge of fundamentals of QA methodology; A QA automation engineer should be well versed in manual and automated testing
  • Proficient in using various tools, such as Selenium, and Magento Functional Testing Framework (MFTF)
  • Attention to detail
