Company has a client seeking an Automation QA Manager in Miramar, FL.

Responsibilities:

  • The Automation QA Manager will create and maintain an Automation Framework that is robust and scalable to meet testing needs
  • Create Automation Scripts that follow QA Best Practices
  • Analyze current technology utilized within and evaluate areas of efficiencies/optimizations and expand upon them for continued growth
  • Manage GIT Repositories and permissions, including branching and tagging
  • Responsible for the interviewing, mentoring, counseling, and evaluation of the Automation Engineers
  • Assign, track and evaluate team assignments
  • Participate in Automation Roadmap discussion with Sr QA Manager
  • Review and Approve Test Scripts developed by Automation Team
  • Ensure the Automation Team possess the skill set to develop using but not limited to Java, Selenium, Appium, Dockers, TestNG, Jenkins, Azure Devops
  • As an Automation QA Manager, you will develop and enforce an Automation Scripting standard that are robust, standalone scripts and can support change with minimal impact
  • Maintain Scripts across Browsers to stay current and executable
  • Review Project Requirements to gain an understanding of New Features
  • Participate in Brainstorming Meetings
  • Review and Identify and Create Test Case Scenarios following QA Best Practices
  • Review Test Case Execution by Engineer to ensure the Automation Team is meeting Testing Deliverables and provide feedback to team
  • Provide Level of Effort to SR QA Manager for Automation development efforts
  • Review reported Incidents (defects) and documentation to ensure that they are clear and precise
  • Ensure to escalate any Roadblocks preventing the automation team from completely tasks in a timely manner
  • Provide Status Report daily on the work completed
  • The Automation QA Manager will ensure Automation Test Results are stored and available for project team to review
  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience
  • 6+ years of proven Automation experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a people leader
  • Documented references of leading a mid-size onshore/offshore team
  • Experience in leading large revenue projects across multiple operational channels
  • Proficient with Agile Methodologies and supervising Agile Teams
  • Knowledge of Big Data concepts, strategies and testing strategies

Technical Stack

  • Proficient in Data Structure and algorithms
  • Knowledge of databases and writing/executing SQL queries
  • Knowledge of Integrated development environments (IDE)
  • Proficient in programming languages JAVA, javascript, php and python
  • Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Languages
  • OS/HW experience in Linux/Unix open systems and AWS/Google Cloud Environments
  • Experience writing test automation scripts in Java using Page Object Model
  • Proficiency with API’s (REST, SOAP, POSTMAN and GraphQL)
  • Proficient with test engineering tools such as Selenium, Appium, Winnium Driver, Selenium Grid, Docker/Kubernetes, Junit or TestNG, Maven, Unix Shell scripting, GIT, Extent/Allure Report, Confluence; Windows, Linux, and Mac OS
  • Experience working with SOAP and REST service and understanding of SOA architecture
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins, and Maven
  • Experience in creating Dockerfiles, Custom Docker Images, and leveraging existing Linux containers
  • Familiar with virtualization Technologies like VMWare, vShpere/ESXi
  • Experience working with Defect management tools such as TFS, Azure, JIRA, or equivalent
