React Engineer

Company has a client in Sunrise, FL that is seeking a React Engineer.

Responsibilities:

  • In this role, the React Engineer will be serving as a core member of an agile team that drives user story analysis and elaboration, designs and develops responsive web applications using Javascript with strong emphasis on React
  • Building reusable cross platform components and front-end libraries for future use
  • Performing hands-on software development, typically spending 50-60% of time actually writing code and unit tests, doing proof of concepts, conducting code reviews, and testing in ongoing sprints
  • Performing ongoing refactoring of code, utilizing visualization and other techniques to fast track concepts, and delivering continuous improvement
  • Developing deep understanding of integrations with other systems and platforms within the supported domains
  • The React Engineer will bring a culture of innovation, ideas, and continuous improvement
  • Challenging status quo, demonstrate risk taking, and implement creative ideas
  • Manage your own time, and work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Good attitude, willingness to learn and collaborate
  • Work closely with product managers, back-end and other front-end engineers to implement versatile solutions to tricky web development problems
  • Finalizing HTML prototypes into Web Applications by integrating with back-end services and functionality
  • Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
  • Drive automation and ensure automated test scripts are completed for new features in partnership with QA Engineers
  • As a React Engineer, you will demonstrate a passion for continuous learning and willingness to adopt new technologies
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or 5+ years of equivalent experience in related disciplines
  • Demonstrated technical capabilities and ability to work collaboratively and effectively with a range of stakeholders
  • Attention to detail and strong organization skills
  • Experience working in high-performing development teams using agile methodologies and tools
  • Experience working in SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) within a large heavily matrixed organization
  • Experience in React, Redux, Vue, Angular, JavaScript(ES6+), Typescript, HTML 5, CSS, JQuery, JEST
  • Experience writing adaptive and responsive UI applications
  • Experience using Babel, Webpack and NPM
  • Experience using test automation tools like Selenium, Cucumber and Puppeteer
  • Experience in a broad range of software design approaches and common UX patterns
  • Hands on experience with performance testing and tuning applications
  • Understanding of reactive and functional programming

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
