DevOps Engineer

Company has a client that is seeking a DevOps Engineer in Saint Louis, MO.
Responsibilities:
- DevOps Engineer will analyze, execute, and streamline DevOps practices
- Automating processes with the right tools (Jenkins CI/CD, among others)
- Facilitating development process and operations
- Establishing a suitable DevOps channel across the organization
- Setting up a continuous build environment to speed up software development and deployment process
- Guiding developers and operation teams in case of an issue
- As a DevOps Engineer, you will implement testing automation and CI/CD to improve efficiency
- Monitoring, reviewing, and managing technical operations with the right tools (CloudWatch and Data Dog)
- Someone who’s passionate and talented, with at least 5 years of work experience as backend developer and wide experience administering Linux Servers
- Experience in web development and advanced knowledge of programming languages, especially in 2 of the following JavaScript or Python
- Experience working with cloud services providers, especially Amazon Web Services (S3, ELB/ALB, Lambda, Lambda Functions, SNS, API Gateway, CloudFront, Route 53)
- Experience developing, deploying, and maintaining Serverless applications, especially AWS Lambda/Serverless Framework
- Experience building Jenkins CI/CD pipelines (non-negotiable)
- Experience configuring and administering Datadog and CloudWatch monitoring tools (non-negotiable)
- Advanced knowledge of backend development frameworks, especially Laravel
- Knowledge in frontend libraries and frameworks like ReactJS, React Native
- Have a clear understanding of DevOps tools, structure, processes, and mindsets
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
