Company has a client that is seeking a Engineer II, Test Engineer SF in Chicago, IL.
Summary:
We are currently looking for a talented, experienced Test Engineer with good communication skills and a passion for testing Salesforce product for our growing organization. The Test Engineer will be responsible for managing all functional and automated testing processes in support of Salesforce development efforts at Company. From design to implementation, you will partner with our stellar engineering, product, and design teams in a fast-paced, agile environment to transform ideas into reality. Utilizing modern methodologies and open-source tools, you will be empowered to push the boundaries of Test Engineering as we seek to deliver Salesforce that will directly and immediately impact the experience of our teams and our patients. This role will handle the creation of all test scripts, the documentation of all test cases and identification of bugs across Salesforce development and reporting. The Test Engineer will manage the identification of bugs and assist in the prioritization of bug fixes.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to all aspects of SDLC process (SCRUM, Design, Code, Test, Deploy & Maintain)
- Collaborate with Salesforce Product, UX and Engineering teams
- Review and analyze business and system requirements/specifications
- Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures
- Execute test cases (manual or automated) and log test results
- Work with the development and product team to correct bugs/errors and identify requirement updates/clarifications
- Contribute to code review process to improve code quality
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks and solutions for Salesforce product and APIs
- Automate tests to facilitate regression testing
- Collaborate with engineering to build solutions on testing and automation to achieve SecDevOps best practices
- Bachelor’s degree in CS or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of experience in automation testing development including Salesforce test automation
- 3+ years of experience with testing tools like Selenium, SOAP UI, Ready API, open-source tools
- 2+ years of experience with databases and SQL
- Experience working in an Agile/DevOps environment
- Experience working with source code and CI tools and processes
- Sound knowledge of QA methodology and Agile frameworks
- Proficiency with one or more of the following programming languages/frameworks – .NET/JAVA, Java Script, Python
- Proficiency with Test Case Preparation and Execution
- Strong communication skills and a keen eye for details
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and gRPC – preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
