Business Intelligence Software Engineer

A Company client located in Grand Rapids, Michigan is looking to add a Business Intelligence Software Engineer to their corporate Information & Analytics team. This position will be onsite in Grand Rapids with a hybrid work model.
Responsibilities:
- The Business Intelligence Software Engineer leads complex software engineering projects from inception to completion
- Helps define and assist in the implementation of technical processes and procedures including on-prem and cloud architecture, PaaS, unit testing, integration testing, automation of build processes and configurations
- The Business Intelligence Software Engineer assists in maintaining and improving existing BI software solutions
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or equivalent
- 1-2+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong experience working with .NET and C#
- Great communication skills
- Experience with MS SQL Server
- Excellent SQL skills
- Knowledge and experience with the entirety of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Working knowledge of .NET development using C# in an Azure/Cloud environment
- An excellent understanding of how their work fits into the larger architectural picture from a maintainability and testability point-of-view
- Ability to provide production support on an as-needed basis
- Deep understanding of internal systems and their integrations
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
