Company has a client that is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer in Saint Louis, MO.

Duties Include:

  • Senior Site Reliability Engineer will work close with the third-party vendor hosting the Epic Payer Platform on Azure for the company
  • Supports the EPP implementation at this company and performs necessary downstream integrations required by the business teams

Performance expectations/metrics for this individual and their team:

  • Take primary responsibility for managing, automating, and scaling of our Azure environment for EPP
  • Leverage Azure cloud services for compute, storage and build continuous integration, continuous delivery pipeline (CI/CD)
  • Implement strategies that increase system reliability and performance through on-call rotation and process optimization
  • As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will add necessary automations for improved collaborative response in real-time and establish end-to-end monitoring and alerting on all critical components
  • Participate in stress, security, and performance testing
  • Troubleshoot issues that come up through support escalation and keep documentation, run books and modules up to date to effectively deal with new incidents that might arise
  • Facilitate post incident reviews and document findings for future informed decision making
  • Initiate proposals to optimize Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to boost service reliability
  • Work collaboratively with development teams to investigate and document issues and create solutions to mitigate them
  • Expected to deliver on all accepted Features every quarter
  • Maintain a high level of support for production applications and make sure we are adhering to the SLAs defined
  • Master’s degree in CS or equivalent
  • Development experience building DevOps automation pipelines in GitLab and Jenkins
  • Deployment experience with Amazon ECS and Kubernetes
  • Experience architecting and developing applications on Azure and AWS
  • Development experience with data intensive AWS Lambda functions, deployment functions to receive and process events from S3 buckets
  • Exposure to Snowpipe and Snowflake integration patterns
  • GitLab, Kubernetes, Azure, AWS, Snowflake
  • React.js, Node.js
  • Elastic Container Service (ECS)

  • Python, Java
  • GO, .NET
  • Angular.js, jQuery
