A Company client is seeking to hire a Mid-Level Visual Designer in Palo Alto, California (CA).
Summary:
This opportunity will enable a Mid-Level Visual Designer to collaborate closely with other designers, researchers, product managers, software engineers, and many others to solve complex challenges and craft powerful experiences that highlight the company’s products’ unique capabilities and personalities.
Responsibilities include:
- Designs interactive and interface design for cloud solution features
- Mid-Level Visual Designer will collaborate with product owners, engineers, cross-functional stakeholders to understand business requirements and technical constraints
- Convert sometimes uncleared specifications and requirements into interactive and interface solutions that uphold user and business needs
- Create wireframes, flow diagrams, pattern definitions, mockups, and/or high-fidelity prototypes at various stages of the design process to communicate user experience and design intents
- Mid-Level Visual Designer will execute design deliverables based on an existing design system and principles, and in accordance with established design strategy, practices, and guidelines
- Review design deliverables and documentation with stakeholders, gathering feedback, and iterating upon design-centered changes, refinements, and improvements
- Bachelor’s degree in Design or equivalent practical experience
- Experience in designing responsive websites or web applications
- Experience in crafting wireframes, mockups, and prototypes utilizing design tools such (Figma Required)
- Must have knowledge in design systems and atomic design approach
- Portfolio highlighting multiple design projects and direct contributions
Nice to Have:
- Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related field.
- 4+ years of industry experience in designing applications across multiple platforms
- Basic understanding of HTML5 and CSS3; Knowledge of React is a plus
- Fluent in using Figma components and auto-layout features
- Experience in collaborating with designers, engineers, technical writers and project managers to deliver in Agile project environments
