Company has a client that is seeking a Security Engineer I in Washington, DC.

Duties Include:

  • Security Engineer I will build standards that all, new, and existing software should be assessed against and that will assist teams in making procurement decisions with the best outcomes for the company
  • Work to gain an understanding of all 3rd party software at this company using various sources of data and automation
  • As a Security Engineer I, you will build integrations and/or leverage tools that can assess the ongoing compliance of the solutions
  • Build tools to measure and monitor adherence to prescribed standards
  • 1-2 years of experience
  • Entry-level understanding of and experience implementing and configuring SAML/SSO (IdP, SP, Assertions) for SaaS application
  • Entry-level understanding and experience implementing 2nd factor authentication
  • Entry-level understanding of authz models such as ACL, DAC, MAC, RBAC, ABAC
  • Entry-level understanding of authN best practices
  • Entry-level understand of email security
  • Entry-level experience penetration testing 3rd party SaaS
  • Entry-level experience with and understanding of common SaaS hosting infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, Custom Cloud
  • Entry-level understanding data protection/encryption techniques such as, encryption at rest, client-side encryption, envelope-based encryption, Certificate based encryption, pgp, TLS, mTLS
  • Experience penetration testing 3rd part SaaS
  • Coding: Golang, Python, React, Shell Scripting
