Company has a client in Maryland Heights, MO that is seeking a Developer.

Summary:
In this role, the Developer develops, modifies, enhances and implements software systems designed to support new or existing business initiatives. Projects are usually of considerable complexity and require a strong knowledge of development tools. The Developer works in most phases of a project and may review work of les experienced staff members, and performs maintenance and provides technical assistance and advice on existing software solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
  • Codes and performs unit an integration testing of software to ensure proper and efficient execution and adherence to business and technical requirements
  • The Developer writes programs according to specifications
  • Participates in code review sessions to validate adherence with development standards
  • Develops and maintains technical documentation
  • Collaborates with internal technical teams and customers to identify software problems and communicates remediation plans
  • As a Developer, this role participates in continuous performance improves sessions to discuss opportunities to improve processes or standards
  • Follows established configuration/change control processes
  • 7+ years of experience in Web application development
  • Experience that demonstrates sustained successful leadership of Java, web design and development activities in a team environment
  • Knowledge of Web technologies such as Java/Java EE, JSP, AJAX, JQuery, React, XML, and HTML
  • Solid experience with Agile methodology
  • Solid experience with test driven development, Junit
  • Knowledge of Java API for RESTful Web Services (Web API)
  • Knowledge of Database query language (SQL)
  • Knowledge of ReactJS
  • Full stack experience
  • Front end – React experience
  • Back end – Java/Spring Boot experience
  • Demonstrates analysis skills
  • Demonstrates initiative

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong learning skills
  • Good teamwork skills
  • Good problem resolution skills
  • Quality-oriented
  • Nodejs experience is nice to have
