Company has a client in Morrisville, NC that is seeking a UI Developer.

Summary:
We are a team of highly motivated, skilled and passionate developers, testers, architects, product managers and infrastructure engineers. Working in the UI team, the UI Developer will be surrounded by experienced and creative engineers, who are deeply enthusiastic about crafting beautiful, performant and well engineered UI code. The UI Developer will engage with our world class, and award winning UX Designers to design and build elegant and intuitive user interfaces.

The person in this role must be an outstanding JavaScript UI Engineer, with a history of delivering software products that consistently meet or exceed customer and collaborator expectations, on time and with a high degree of quality. You must care deeply about delivering working software, which goes beyond the hopes and expectations of your team mates, collaborators and customers. You consider yourself a custodian of the shared codebase and always work hard to improve the code you work on, and leave behind best-in-class patterns and implementations.

Responsibilities:

  • Enable code re-use and have an eye for efficiency, performance and software design
  • See code reviews as an opportunity to practice continuous improvement of the codebase and your skills
  • Believe in the agile manifesto and have worked on agile projects under the scrum process and actively and enthusiastically contribute to agile ceremonies
  • Candidates qualifying for this position will have similar experience along with the skills and abilities to perform the duties mentioned
  • Any relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus

Demonstrable intermediate to expert level experience of software development using the following languages, frameworks and tools:

  • React.js
  • TypeScript
  • Redux state management
  • CSS techniques such as BEM and CSS Modules
  • Accessibility and web standards
  • Build tools such as Webpack, Yarn and npm
  • Unit Testing, BDD and Test Automation, including testing tools like Jest, React Testing Library, Enzyme and Cypress
  • Git and Git processes
