Company has a large enterprise level client in Redmond, WA that is looking for a hybrid Software Design Engineer. This person will be helping to build a campus solution for the company.

This role is in IoT Device Lifecycle Management which focuses on the entire lifecycle of IoT devices in the Smart Building space. This includes Modelling, Onboarding, Integration, Updates and Support of IoT sensors, devices, and gateways. The team works with many types of Smart Building devices like People Density, Occupancy, Acoustics, Air Quality, etc., to many of the traditional BMS devices like HVAC from variety of hardware suppliers. We also work on various company services and hardware like several Azure IoT Offerings and Azure Stack Edge. The Software Design Engineer will be writing code which runs on both Cloud and on Edge and connects to millions of sensors across the globe

  • 8+ years of experience delivering scalable and resilient services at large enterprise scale
  • 8+ years of experience with Microsoft .NET
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure or Cloud
  • 2+ years of experience with IoT
  • Experience designing, developing, and launching multi-tenant solutions involving edge, cloud, analytics, and UI
  • Experience working on IoT offerings on cloud and edge
  • Expertise in deploying, running, and managing containerized workloads on different environments from Azure to Edge
  • Building high scale event processing pipelines
  • Experience with Live Site monitoring and operating in DevOps environment
  • Experience working in Agile methodology (Scrum/Kanban/etc.) with the ability to perform multiple roles (Developer, Scrum Master)
