Company has a client that is seeking a Full Stack Developer in Jersey City, NJ.
Summary:
Come be a part of a small core team of senior individual contributors who are responsible for accelerating the delivery of high impact projects supporting critical trading workflows. The Full Stack Developer will be working directly with stakeholders to understand the problems, and then formulate, socialize, and deliver solutions.
Duties Include:
- Build dynamic modern UIs, microservices, Java architecture, leveraging private and/or public cloud (AWS)
- As a Full Stack Developer, you will impact thousands of clients and accelerate delivery of a number of internal teams
- Work closely with the mutual fund team to drive cutting edge solutions
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science or comparable major; Solid foundation in Computer Science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design
- Passionate coders with 4+ years of modern web development experience
- 3+ years of Agile development with globally distributed teams
- 2+ years of experience with React UI development preferred but strong JavaScript candidates are welcome
- 2+ years of experience with Java Spring Boot Rest/Microservice API development
- Experience with CSS utilities such as LESS, SAS
- Must be a strong Full Stack Developer with React, HTML, Cypress and CSS, Java Spring Boot experience
- Problem solvers with the desire and proven ability to create innovative solutions
- Future technology leaders – dynamic individuals energized by fast paced personal and professional growth
- Phenomenal communicators who can explain and present concepts to technical and non-technical audiences alike, including high level decision makers
- Knowledge and experience in developing software using agile methodologies
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Client facing or consulting experience highly preferred
- Good working knowledge of databases/SQL preferred
- Development experience on AWS, Cloud Foundry preferred
- Financial services experience desirable
