UI/API Developer

Company is seeking a qualified UI and API Developers of all skill levels to work at a large innovative telecommunications client in Maryland Heights, MO.
Summary:
The candidate designs, develops, modifies, and implements web applications and/or services designed to support our Company Portals Platforms based web applications. The selected candidate will be a member of the team that is responsible all aspects of the software development lifecycle. The selected candidate will also be expected to be on top of industry tools and trends in web development and/or web API development.
Responsibilities:
- Develop software based on Portals Platform standards and patterns
- Work as a part of a development team
- Participate in peer and code review activities
- Mentor less experienced developers
Senior UI Developer:
- Strong working knowledge and experience with JavaScript (es5/es6)
- Experience with React
- Solid understanding of OOP & prototypal inheritance
- Experience using Web UI Debugging tools (firebug, chrome dev tools, windows script debugger, etc.)
- Strong communication skills
Differentiators:
- Good understanding of git version control system
- Solid understanding of REST
- Experience building Single Page Applications with JavaScript
- Java and/or Spring Boot experience
Senior Web API Developer:
- Strong working knowledge and experience with Spring Boot
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design
- Good understanding of git version control system
- Experience with Java 8
- Solid understanding of OOP
- Experience with Unit Testing frameworks and continuous integration tools
- Strong communication skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
