Company has a client that is seeking a Lead Application Support Engineer in Plano, TX.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Subject matter expert on key applications for all internal business partners:

  • Combination of.NET core and newer applications backed by SQL and MongoDB backends
  • Hybrid environment with on premise and Azure resources
  • Applications support originations, servicing, CRM, and enterprise functions
  • Lead Application Support Engineer will interface directly with developers, software vendors, and consultants for support and routine enhancement requests
  • Coordinate and implement routine internal enhancement requests to existing applications following established standards and processes
  • Create knowledge base documentation and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on production issues
  • Create technical documentation for internal department consumption
  • As a Lead Application Support Engineer, you will create and update technical and user documentation as needed
  • Provide appropriate and timely updates to business partners
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience required
  • Prior business application technical support experience preferred
  • Experience leading and/or working on project teams
  • Proven experience supporting mission critical IT applications
  • Experience with one or more of these vendors/applications is a plus: ABS Vision, ACI Payments, GDS Link, Kentico CRM, MuleSoft, Okta, Ribbit, or Salesforce
  • Strong communicator: Able to effectively talk to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Organization and Time Management: Ability to manage multiple incidents at once, communicate status, and ensure support task completion
  • Self-starter: Work with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks based on business impact
  • Analytical: Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and solve technical issues; Recognize and remediate any upstream/downstream implications of production incidents
