Company has a client in Aliso Viejo, CA that is seeking a Senior Cloud Developer. As a Senior Cloud Developer, you will play a key role in growth and long-term success by being a key contributor in Application Development. Your colleagues will include Solutions Architects, Solutions Analysts, Developers, and Testers.

Responsibilities:

  • The Senior Cloud Developer analyzes complex projects and IT requests, independently design, build, and deploy software releases to support the business objectives
  • Acts as a resource to the group on new technologies and industry trends; tries out new tools, technologies and makes recommendations on technology solutions for our applications
  • Partners with business and other technical SMEs across the enterprise in designing and implementing the solutions that streamline applications and data
  • Has expert-level knowledge of latest technology currently in use by team; participates in peer review meetings, provides input, receives feedback and implements necessary changes for design and code reviews
  • Partners with with Dev Ops and CIT to implement any infrastructure and security needs
  • Acts as subject matter expert for overall system solution and provides long term technical strategy for application integrations; Also identifies potential long-term problems ahead of time and designs software to alleviate those problems
  • As a Senior Cloud Developer, this role designs component-based software solutions with the intent of creating reusable components, or pieces of functionality
  • Designs software that is highly available, scalable and fast
  • Develops innovative approaches to web and component-based software development; Serves as department technical expert and Mentor other developers to improve their designs and documentation
  • 8+ years progressive technology experience in web application development, including 3+ years of Cloud development experience, preferably using .NET, Azure, AWS
  • 3+ years of development experience in Angular, React, Jquery, nodeJS, Gulp, webpack, Swagger API, GIT, and ADO
  • Strong development experience in .NET, C#, ASP.NET, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, Sass; Familiar with databases – SQL Server, NOSQL

Nice To Have:

  • Demonstrated experience in collaborating with and mentoring peers
  • Experience in cross-platform application integration (Java, .NET)
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum
  • Experience working in life insurance and annuity industry
