Company has a client who is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to join their team in Salt Lake City, UT!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Software Engineering Manager will supervise and mentor software developers and testers
  • Drive business growth through excellent products and services that our customers love
  • Provide technical and team leadership in the design, implementation, and testing of high-performance, high-quality video communication applications for iOS and Android
  • Work with HR to recruit, interview, and hire software developers
  • Identify upcoming features on iOS and Android and lead team to implement support to provide our users with the best platform experience
  • Provide aggressive, attainable goals, and time frames
  • Use agile and rapid application development processes to speed engineering efforts
  • Work with Product Managers to identify new features and designs
  • As a Software Engineering Manager, you will work with other development managers to ensure features are consistent across platforms
  • Contribute to the overall enterprise architecture
  • Monitor, measure, and improve software development and test processes
  • Lead teams to improve development skills and learn new technologies and frameworks
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience
  • Developing state-of-the-art applications
  • Knowledge of Android native development (NDK, C++, JNI, and SWIG)
  • Knowledge of iOS native development (Swift, SwiftUI, Objective-C)
  • Experience with single code base tools such as React Native
  • Experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Experience with AWS services
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions
  • Experience leading teams on automation of testing
  • Experience with VoIP applications and services
