Company’s client, a growing Semiconductor Technology Company in Bellevue, WA, is seeking a Senior ASIC Design Architect to lead the definition and development of ASICs for the company’s revolutionary technology.   • In this role, the Senior ASIC Design Architect will be defining the chip features, architecture, and future roadmap from scratch
  • Working with optical devices, system engineering, and business teams to optimize system-level partitioning and defining block-level requirements for the Company’s next generation product
  • Lead the partitioning between ASICs, FPGAs, circuit board components, and software algorithms
  • Will be in charge of the architecture and design decisions
  • Build products from scratch
  • Identifying and interacting with external contractors, including design houses and foundries
  • Setting up EDA infrastructure
  • Will lead a small team
  • The Senior ASIC Design Architect will have the ability to build and grow a team in the future
  • BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • At least 8-12+ years of experience in analog and digital ASIC architecture and design
  • Strong understanding of all phases of ASIC development projects including ASIC architecture, micro-architecture, RTL design, verification, timing closure, physical design, and bring-up
  • Understand and communicate system level tradeoffs and optimize/segment system needs into chips for optimum system performance
  • Experience being in charge of the architecture and design decisions
  • Experience building products from scratch
  • Experience in IE Image sensors and/or display driver ICs is a plus but not required
  • Experience with multiple tape outs
  • Digital and Analog and/or Mixed Signal design experience
