Company has a client in Rocklin, CA that is seeking a Software Engineer.

Job Summary:
We use JustEnough, the demand planning tool for Demand Forecast, Replenishment and Allocation. The vendor for this product is ToolsGroup and the technology is .Net, SQL Server, SSIS and DevExpress and we don’t have a source for .Net. We do 90% support and development on SQL Server using TSQL & SQL and another 10% on SSIS, Windows and IIS.

Day to Day (40% technical, 60% functional):

  • Understanding business requirements
  • Onsite technical support person; Tickets, troubleshooting issues
  • The Software Engineer will be hands-on with program writing, technically able to resolve the issues; Can understand the business issues and apply technical skills to resolve
  • Coordination with offshore team
  • 4-8 years of relevant experience
  • Should have worked on SQL, Windows
  • Able to learn new technology

Experience with the following is required:

  • SQL, TSQL
  • SQL Server
  • JustEnough – allocations demand, critical for Peak
  • Application of JustEnough is new – program language is generic; Learn the applications, know the tables, relationships of tables, understand overall application of the technology

Nice to Have:

  • Retail experience
  • Retail planning experience
  • SSIS experience
  • Basics knowledge of IIS and Windows
  • Knowledge on Retail Demand Planning tool (Prefer JustEnough)
  • Functional/Domain knowledge on Retail Planning
  • Production Support (ITSM)
  • Product Patching and Upgrade
