A Company client is seeking to hire an RPA Developer in Houston, Texas (TX).

Summary:
An RPA Developer will create unit and functional automation solutions to ensure high quality and full code coverage for client software thereby providing our members and employees a stable and responsive experience on all platforms. You should expect to be part of an integrated, cross-functional team that follows test-driven development methods using modern testing tools including Mocha, Chai, Enzyme, Sinon and Selenium. Ideal RPA Developers have deep knowledge in Linux and Windows based scripting techniques and the ability to manually test and automate on both the UI front end and on back-end web services. RPA Developers work in challenging, fast-paced, agile environments to deliver quality and automation behind web and mobile applications.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist with all phases of automation development providing test-driven solutions for both internal employees and external member-facing projects
  • Collaborate with experienced team members and work closely with business clients and UI designers to analyze user requirements, design and build unit and functional automation, and customize commercial software packages
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) majors
  • 4+ years of experience in JavaScript, JavaScript Frameworks and libraries such as React or Angular, CSS3, and HTML5
  • 4+ years of experience in Java J2EE and Web Services (Restful and SOAP)
  • 3+ years of experience in Selenium for Java and/or JavaScript
  • Strong Understanding of Test, Behavior, Acceptance Test Driven development, and Continuous Integration
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment
  • Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
  • Experience developing responsive applications
  • Experience with one or more of the following technologies: JSON, Mocha/Chai, Selenium JS, WebdriverIO, Enzyme, Sinon, Wicket, XML
  • Experience in Git-style repositories and projects is highly recommended
