Remote – Senior Full Stack Software Developer

Company’s client, a growing Technology Company in the agricultural industry is seeking an energetic, team-oriented individual to join their team as a Remote Senior Software Engineer. We are working directly with the Hiring Manager on this exclusive search assignment. This company offers a competitive compensation package including base salary and stock. You will be coding new features and technology for their modern React Native apps, building on rich APIs in Node.js and Ruby on Rails, and interfacing with data from their computer vision technology. This position is 100% Remote.
Responsibilities:
- Develop solutions in React, Node.js, Python, and/or Ruby; Given a nebulous project, you have the ability to work with Product Managers and Designers to scope it, find a solution, and work with other engineers to implement solutions
- Provide design and architecture and provide technical leadership to sprint teams within a start-up company environment, where challenges are common, and clarity of communication is critical; About 20% Architecture and 80% Coding
- Stack: React, Node.JS and Ruby; Some Python
- BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar field or equivalent work experience
- At least 5+ years of experience in software development and architecture in a production software development environment
- Experience working within an early/growth-stage startup team is a plus
- Love working with any of the following technologies: Node.js, React and/or Ruby (RoR)
- Experience as a tech lead for team-based projects; Have led projects would be ideal
