Company has a client in Chandler, AZ that is seeking a Senior Developer.

Responsibilities:

  • The Senior Developer uses systems architectural and design principles to plan, modify and implement application solutions
  • Plan, modify and implement application solutions
  • Participates in new application rollouts and upgrades by reviewing vendor provided technical documentation, understanding the implications of the changes and building plans for incorporating the changes into the environment
  • Provides support, troubleshooting and upgrades for various software; Develops and supports interfaces between applications; researches and maintains data integrity, and utilizes development tools to maintain applications, interfaces and reports
  • Plans, schedules and performs application upgrades, and provides project management including securing the right resources and coordinating conflicting technical solutions
  • As a Senior Developer, this role develops, implements and maintains business processes and procedures required for coordination of efforts and expenditure of resources
  • Designs, implements, evaluates and facilitates systems tests for new applications or enhancements to current applications
  • Develops and recommends technical support and software management standards, policies, procedures and strategies
  • Develops detailed functional requirements and design specifications to drive software package configuration and custom system
  • Works with business teams to clarify system capabilities, application requirements, procedural needs and priorities
  • Assists in the review, re-engineering and development of business process and procedural requirements related to systems assigned and system requirements for enabling technology
  • Provides quality assurance relating to code changes, analysis, design, requirements and development
  • The Senior Developer creates, debugs and runs SQL scripts to conduct data analysis, accuracy validation and data maintenance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Any equivalent combination of education and current experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the position
  • Five (5) years of recent systems application analysis, highly complex technical documentation programming, including acting as a lead system implementer on a project team delivering an enterprise solution
  • Experience in web development (C#, ASP.Net, Angular, NodeJs preferred), BASH/Linux, XML, JSON, Database development (Progress, SQL, PL/SQL desired)

Desired Qualifications:

  • Python experience
  • SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) experience
  • Experience with Ansible Tower
  • Experience with Docker
  • Experience with continuous integration and DevOps methodologies
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • Project Management
