Company has a client that is seeking a Mid-Level Developer in Fort Worth, TX.

Job Purpose:
Mid-Level Developers are involved in the development and architectural processes of the development team. They will continue to pair with leads, architects, and other team members to both gain and give exposure and understanding to all layers of the stack, programming paradigms, and best practices. They have a moderate or strong understanding of the DevOps model and employ those practices daily.

Essential Functions:

  • Mid-Level Developer will pair with other developers and learn the software development process and life cycle of a feature request
  • Work with the development team to meet acceptance criteria, gathering, and documenting the requirements
  • Broaden their depth of knowledge and expertise in languages, tool sets and areas of the stack
  • Raise questions and clarify any ambiguity developer has with an idea or process
  • Work on mid-sized to larger development projects with oversight by a technical lead
  • Hunt and fix bugs
  • Provide application support as needed
  • Continue to learn and hone skills as software engineer, focusing at a high level on design patterns and architectural concerns
  • Design and model solutions that fit the problem domain
  • As a Mid-Level Developer, you will identify components of the application and infrastructure in their domain
  • Use the appropriate terminologies to accurately express to the team design goals, approaches, and solutions
  • Continue to work with the team to design and implement applications as well as the build, release, deployment, and configuration activities
  • Document code thoroughly as well as develop clear, concise technical and user documentation (i.e., system/data workflows, descriptions of processes, etc.)
  • Must be a reliable and responsible team member, accountable for assigned work
  • High School diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred; May substitute education in IT related field for experience on a year for year basis
  • Years of experience: 5
  • Experience in .NET framework and C# using Visual Studio, Web APSs, and REST
  • Developer level SQL skills
  • Experience with Agile development, expected to understand system design details
  • Experience with modified scrum and agile development methods
  • Experience with version control systems (i.e., TFS, TFVC)
  • Working knowledge of IIS, SSIS, and Reporting Services
  • Operational Understanding of Azure and DevOps
  • Must have a moderate understanding of OOP concepts
  • Must have a basic understanding of logical and physical data models
  • Be able to read workflow model diagrams
  • Ability to work in fast-paced multi-disciplinary environments
